Fishing Charters & Drop-off Service

Tri River Charters offers a variety of sport fishing charter services.
We are primarily a guided fishing business, and specialize in salmon fishing.  Half Day (5 hour) and Full Day (8 hour) guided charters are available.  All gear is provided, including hip boots.  On all of our guided trips, the boat and guide stay with the client, instructing and assisting to insure an enjoyable time with the highest success.  We also offer a drop-off fishing service.  This generally works well for experienced fishermen, who want to fish on their own.  You can use your own gear, or we can provide gear.  We can adjust the trip length to accommodate any schedule.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer fly-out fishing trips?
Well, since we are a riverboat service, we generally like to keep our vessels in the water :)  Seriously, we do not offer fly-in fishing, but our charters are the finest sportfishing trips available.  Tri River Charters' jet boats can transport you to some of the most pristine wilderness fishing spots in South Central Alaska!

What sort of gear do we need to bring?
All gear can be provided, including hip boots... you are welcome to either use your own gear,
or Tri River Charters'.

Will you help us process the fish we catch... to take with us or to send home?
Absolutely!  The guide will fillet the fish and put it in ZipLok bags, then you have your choice of options:
1) You may keep the fish in our freezer until you are ready to leave...

2) We can FEDEX fish overnight anywhere in the U.S. You just fill out our form
and let us know when you would like it shipped.  This option generally runs about $100.

3) We can send your fish to Anchorage for vacuum packing and shipping / or pickup by you to take home on the airplane with you.

4) You take the fish with you packed on ice in a cooler, and check it as baggage on your flight home.
